In 1986, a young student arrived with nothing but a deep conviction: that education, entrepreneurship, and human excellence could change everything for communities that had been overlooked for generations.

What began as a single session in a small community center grew into an international movement. Book by book, workshop by workshop, country by country — the 7 H's framework was refined, tested, and proven across every culture it touched.
The first community education sessions begin. No infrastructure, no funding, no platform — only conviction and a framework that would eventually become the 7 H's.
Years of refinement. The 7 H's takes shape through hundreds of workshops, conversations, and community partnerships across the United States. The HBCU focus emerges.
The framework crosses borders. First Africa, then the Caribbean, then Europe. The realization: Human Excellence is a universal language.
The formal HBCU Entrepreneurship Initiative launches. Partnerships with 100+ HBCU institutions begin. The first fellows cohort. The first books published.
10,000+ lives touched. 70+ countries. $4.2M in community-driven revenue. And still growing — because the mission was never about one decade.
